Cosy Studio The Maid Easy walking to City

Very pleasant Positive: Location was good, tucked away from busy Sandy Bay Road. Easy walking to Sandy Bay beach, Battery Point and the CBD. Facilities were nice and place was clean. Veranda was a great place to sit and enjoy the sunset. Trees out front provide nice layer of privacy. Negative: Email with check in details not provided, so had to ring owner on arrival to sort out access details. Not difficult to put out rubbish but still think this is something you pay for in the price when booking, and wasn't aware of this requirement until I received a text AFTER my arrival. Cleaners turned up before check out time (admittedly only 5-10 minutes but still).

Positive: A very nice and cozy house in Sandy Bay — a quiet neighborhood that gives the same vibes as the historic Battery Point. It's walking distance from large grocery stores and a good base to explore the city — not really central, but still close. We really liked the house as it was — who wouldn't like a very comfy bed, a spacious and stylish living room, and an electric fireplace to keep you warm in the evening. But the most memorable thing for us was the hospitality. No spoilers (for future tenants), but the owners managed to really touch us without intruding or even meeting us in person. The most heartfelt and warm gesture! Exactly what you need in a new city. We are super grateful and can recommend the place to any single traveler or a couple visiting Hobart.
